HandsOn Texarkana
Have you heard of HandsOn Texarkana? If not, you should stop by the historical house called the Collins Home on ? ,meet the Executive Director Kathey Graves, and check out their website.
HandsOn is a Points of Light affiliation. If you look this up, you will see this is nation wide. They connect volunteers to meaningful opportunities. HandsOn Texarkana helped me with my inaugural event by letting me umbrella their 501(c)(3). My event was successful and I have to thank the Board of Directors and members of HandsOn Texarkana for believing in me and my cause.
I was nominated and received the HandsOn Texarkana Youth Volunteer of the Year Award for 2016. I could not be more grateful and thankful for this group of people.
If you need help or direction in volunteering in Texarkana, HandsOn Texarkana is your starting point.
