

A peak of the Adoption Trailer!!
By Master Cat Blogger - Fable My humans have been teasing and teasing about this unveiling of the adoption trailer for weeeeeks now! Here’s what I have to say. “COME ON WITH IT ALREADY!!” Oh, come on! I know you are thinking the same thing. Soooooo, do you want a little peak???? I found a little snippet of a picture of a part of the trailer. My human thinks she is so slick trying to hide it from me. And here it is!! Well, that is more than we have seen up until now, right!?!

A Little Summary to Keep You All “In The Know”
What started as a 5th grade school project, expanded into reality. In the Fall of 2015, I sought permission from city hall, mapped the route, arranged for police help, created a website, & even received non-profit status under the 501(c)(3) umbrella of HandsOn Texarkana. Through interviews & speaking, the event was publicized in several local newspapers, magazines, radio stations, & even the Scholastic Newsletter, which is published nationally.

“I’m set on doing this.” 11 year-old Shelby Dunphy-Day sits across the table dressed in her soccer gear and spills out her plan for the Six Leg Fun Run and 5K. Shelby has spearheaded an effort to plan, organize, and execute two races that will take place in downtown Texarkana at the end of January. The logo is finished! I used a technique called zentangle (doodle art) to create the unique design on the dog and legs (Six Legs!!!). I actually drew three different designs for the dog and the legs (again, Six Legs!!!). My marketing manager, mom (Kacy), picked out the best parts from all the designs and we combined them to get these awesome SIX LEGS!! These were printed for me by American Signs & Banners.
